I'm a Kent-based painter/object maker with a Nucleus Arts studio located in the historc town of Rochester.
I have previously worked in multimedia including sculpture, digital art and installation. More recently, I've been focussing my attentions on painting in oils. Subject matter can be portraiture, still life or landscape. Currently, I am drawing most of my inspiration from managed landscapes within my local environment. Areas of interest are usually small spaces found inside country or townscapes where I attempt to capture ephemeral moments in nature - taking note of how the time of day, weather and seasonal changes can affect how a space feels.
